League of Legends: Basic Guide part 1

So, I would like to start off with saying sorry that the story has to be pushed off due to circumstances. But I will do something I know several people would benefit from, a basic guide to league of legends, which will become an in depth guide to the mobs game sweeping the world off its feet by Riot. Depending on how long it will be until I can continue writing my story. So without further delay I will begin League of Legends: Basic Guide.
League of Legends is classified as a moba game, or in a nutshell, a sky view player vs player real time strategy. Let me start by explaining that sentence. Sky view, as in the camera is a sky view above the champions. Player vs player or PvP is real people against real people. And the real time strategy part is very loose, since this game is technically a strategy game, but the strategies are more like a team's ability to play in a way that leaves few openings in their defense. So LoL contains four game types, of which, one is put in true competitive play. The four types are Summoner's Rift(the main one) which is a 5v5 match. Twisted Treeline, 3v3. ARAM, one lane 5v5. Dominion, a circular map 5v5 which is furthest from the other three in terms of play style.
    
Summoner's Rift is a three lane 5v5 match  with 11 turrets, 3 inhibitors, and 1 nexus. Each lane has 3 turrets and an inhibitor. The destruction of the enemy nexus is the goal of the game, and the Nexus has two turrets. The three lanes are bottom(bot), middle(mid), and top(top). Both a support champion(will explain roles later) and an ADC go bot. Middle is designed for a single mage, or assassin. Top lane is a one man lane designed for a tank, bruiser, or some assassins. As for the fifth person, the map contains a jungle where a jungler is.

Now for the phrase K.D.A ratio, or Kill/ Death/ Assist ratio. Kills are how many champions you kill, deaths are how many times you die, and assists are for when you help another champion get a kill. CS is a fourth category or creeps slain. Creeps are how many non-champion units you have dealt the killing blow to. Next week I will continue with the making phase

Sobibor Stories: The 10:00pm Park

     It is a rainy day, a dark day, and a day of death. Sobibor is walking around her library at home, thinking to herself. {God damn it! H did it, he didn't get the gem, but the girl lost her life, his own niece. The heartless monster, I can't believe it, how is he always one step ahead of me? He knows my every move, he is just... GAH! I let a girl die because I thought I caught him off guard. I let a girl die, her death falls on my hands... Okay. Okay. I can't sit on this, I need to think. H is a genius, as sick and twisted as he is, and I have the ability to catch him, I only need to catch him in his blind time. Last time I stopped him I rushed him to try to rush a robbery and took him down. But this time he is too cocky to fall for that again. If I could... no.. maybe though. If, IF I could get myself into his file at the station, I could compare his style in the start to when we caught him to now. I could see how he has been changing, but the Detective knows what I would do if I found H so he would never go for it...}.

      As Sobibor is thinking to herself, a buzz at the door is heard. The buzz turns out to be Kaito, covered in droplets and breathing heavy. Kaito opens his mouth to speak but Sobibor just pulls him in and hugs him. Tears begin running down her face as he hugs her back. Kaito tries to talk again, "Sobibor, I heard what happened, I am sorry you couldn't make it to the game but I get it. We can cancel this afternoon also if you would like that, plus the weather is out to get us if we did go to the park." Immediately as Sobibor lets out slight laughter to Kaito, the rain stops. Sobibor smiles as she looks out the window and replies, "The weather looks to be in your favor right now, c'mon let's go." Sobibor runs back to the library and grabs her coat before Kaito sees her running back toward him. They begin walking to the park and Sobibor continues the same thought train as before.

      Kaito is talking the whole time, but his voice is nothing more then a bubble from underwater as Sobibor is deep in thought. Kaito bumps Sobibor and she jumps then looks at him, waiting for a reason, "Have you been?- Nevermind, anyways we are here now." Sobibor stares up to prove Kaito correct. She smiles but her eyes are full of pain and questioning. They get to the front of the line and Kaito puts his hand in Sobibor's saying two words, "More realistic." Sobibor squeezes his hand then giggles quietly, and they get inside without a second look. Once in the park, Sobibor looks around and spreads her arms out straight as she spins around looking at the land of oppurtunity one day holds. Her eyes stop dead at a roller coaster and her mouth opens as she turns back to Kaito. He smiles and begins to walk toward the ride with her. They ride several rides and Sobibor begins to truly cheer up, the dark thoughts leaving her mind.

     At the end of the day Sobibor looks at the park's clock, 9:57, then looks at Kaito. "Kaito, I want to make it up to you for today, so come with me, it's really cool!" She grabs his hand and begins to pull him foward, and after a quick stop for a can of soda, she brings him to a huge circle with many small holes in the ground and they go to the center. Sobibor begins to speak as she starts to shake the can of soda, "I came here once when it opened, and they told everyone that we were the first people to knows this. At 10:00pm every day this circle erupts. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!". As her lips move to form the word one, the holes in the ground all shoot water up, and she opens the can. Several circles of water surrond the two, and for this one moment, Kaito and Sobibor are together alone, holding each other close. Kaito lightly puts his lips to Sobibor's cheek and then takes them away from the now red face.

Sobibor Stories: The Amethyst Rose

Mr. Hillard stands and turns to Sobibor in shock and says, "How did you know about my family's heirloom?" Sobibor smiles and replies, "I has just rather hopeful you had one in all honesty, but you have to answer my question, who knows about it?" Mr. Hillard lists off everyone who knows about the gem outside of his close family. His daughters best friend, Violet Nubaum, and his wife's best friend, Susan Felestello. Sobibor gets a face that says it all, his wife's best friend's last name, Felestello. Sobibor's first case involved a Harold Felestello, a master gem thief who broke out shortly after his arrest. The only man Sobibor couldn't keep behind bars, her mortal enemy.

 Sobibor begins to pursue the theory that he is after the gem, but she realizes kidnapping is slightly out of his expertise. But he has henchman, and a surplus of them. Sobibor asks two more questions, "First off, does the name Harold Felestello ring any bells? And I need more details on your family jewel." Mr. Hillard is taken back to hear the name and replies, "Harold is Susan's brother, and a mastermind, but I doubt he has any involvement in this case since he went missing since he escaped from prison. And the jewel is...."

Mr. Hillard stops talking and grabs a slip of paper and begins to write, when he is finished he gets up and begins to leave, and very discreetly slips the paper to Sobibor and walks out of the station. Sobibor leaves the station not 5 minutes later and looks around her to make sure she is alone, then pulls out the paper. Written very hastily is the following: Come by my house tonight and I will tell you what you need to know. Sobibor walks further before deciding to take up the offer and go to the Hillard's home. Mr. Hillard answers the door, "Did you come alone?" Sobibor giggles, then walks into the house. Mr. Hillard starts up, wasting no time, "The family gem is hidden here. He breaks away to turn a painting and open a vault, removing a box from it. This is the gem that is the foundation of this town, The Amethyst Rose."

The gem is much like the head of a rose, and is indeed a dark purple, as is the birthstone. Sobibor stares at Mr. Hillard and nods, then speaks, "I know where your daughter is, I will assure you will have her by the end of the night." She thanks Mr. Hillard and walks out of the house then begins sprinting. To herself she begins to think {I got it, H. is back in the game, and this time a multi-million dollar gem is his target. The thing is, Susan knows where he is, and is keeping it a secret from everyone. So all I need to do is find out where H. is located, and how to get the girl from him, and catch him once again. So Susan's house is a good place to start.}

 Sobibor arrives at Susan's home and notices someone at the door talking to Susan. Once the mysterious figure sees Sobibor, they get into a car and flee the scene. {Case Closed my dear H.} She follows the car as far as she can and memorizes the car inside and out. After another 2 miles of running, she gets to a location with the same car parked out front. A building looking at foreclosure, a nice place to keep a hostage. She walks to the door and breaks the wood blocking the doorway. She climbs in through the space she has made and walks forward. She gets to a door and opens it, once inside she sees Lauren in chair and a note attached to her.

The note reads:
S-
Good to know you are still as eager as ever to put me behind bars, I missed that. Too bad the man had to go to the police about his daughter, now I get no gem and he killed his own offspring. This is only the start, now that I am back, I will continue to do what I love, elude you and make away with the goods. I hope you can try to keep up, or else there is no excitement.

Sobibor reaches for the girls neck and check for a pulse, none comes through. Sobibor falls to her knees as tears roll down her face. She reads the letter over and over, until the Detective arrives and pulls her out of the scene. {I couldn't save her, H. wanted this to happen, he wanted me to be angry, upset, and to light a fire inside me. Well I promise you one thing H. I won't put you behind bars anymore, when I catch you, and I will, I am going to make you experience a slow and painful death by my hands, of that I am sure. So enjoy it while you can, enjoy the fun, enjoy this game, because it is the last game you will ever play.}

Sobibor Stories: The Family Jewel

Sobibor gets down to the station as soon as she can. She walks in and sees Majdanek and a man next to him. The man is in a panic, still dressed well, but a mess all the same. Sobibor walks over to the Detective and the man and shakes the mans hand. "I am Sobibor and you are the Treasurer of this town am I correct?"- she asks. The man looks up at her wide eyed, "Why, yes, have you seen my face before or come into City Hall?". Sobibor smiles wide and replies, "No sir, your hands just have the texture of someone who deals with currency, but more then just the regular penny and dime, some rare coins, such as the one recently put up in the City Museum." The man stands to his feet and gives a slight bow to Sobibor to show his admiration for the girl's deductive reasoning. The detective breaks in, "This is Matthew Hillard, and his daughter Lauren was kidnapped between the time he left the house and 12pm. Mr. Hillard received a message on his phone at 12:05 saying that his daughter was found and he best bring the family jewel if he was to ever see his daughter alive again. Then at 2:37, a photo of his daughter tied up with one of her fingers cut off was slid into his mail slot. The family jewel is most likely referring to the gem that the founder of this town put into his son's hands, passed down through all the mayors, now in the City Bank vault."Sobibor squints her eyes at hearing this news, and then frowns to hear the next thing, the police have absolutely zero leads, and the jewel in that vault would cost the Treasurer life in prison if he was to take it, and the police can't allow that, so he must be held at the station until they find his daughter.

Sobibor starts with the basics, she asks Mr. Hillard if anyone would want him locked away or if anyone has anything against his daughter, and he gives one name, but it's the name of his deceased political rival, John Morr. So no leads, no easy ransom, and a time limit to get the job done. Sobibor stands to her feet and walks out the station without a word. To herself, she thinks about what to do. {What in the hell is going on here, it sounds to me like a setup, either the kidnapper was expecting this to be done without informing the police, or he wants to kill Lauren. Either way, I have no clue who it could be, where they could be, or even if there is a way to solve this without any more pain and suffering. I bet Sherlock would know what to do in a situation like this. WAIT THAT'S IT! This is all too easy, family jewel is far too specific to an item we all know about, but what if it is only supposed to seem like it. Family jewel is a general term, and I doubt that there is a family in this city without some treasure, and what better then the Treasurer's treasure!}. Sobibor runs back into the station and runs right up to Mr. Hillard. Sobibor frantic for breath, "Mr. Hillard, how many people know about the heirloom that has been passed down in your family?"
