Now this might sound crazy but honestly, this is why I think Halloween is around, so the sorcerer may never rise from the dead again seeing as how we have no fabled warrior around any longer to vanquish the threat, and the blade of peace has been lost forever. So today when you are out having fun, remember the sacrifice made for the human race to be in existence still, and the price we would all pay if you didn't wear a costume. Have a Happy Halloween now ladies and gentlemen.

Nerdiness Episode XIV
Alright so today is Halloween, so obviously massive nerd power activates today, I mean dress up as whatever you want? The possibilities are literally endless, considering you can go from Superman to Megaman, to Godzilla, to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, to Sherlock Holmes, to maybe even the infamous Pumpkin King Jack Skellington. So what is Halloween really all about? I have no idea but I do have a theory that I think is pretty amazing. So long ago an ancient evil was brought into this world by a dark sorcerer to destroy the land so he could rise up the armies of the underworld to fight the angels in the battle known as the apocalypse, but one young warrior stepped up with a Blade forged in both the darkest depths of hell and the highest clouds of heaven created only to be used to destroy the end-bringer. So the warrior fought with the beast and the armies of heaven were beside him, and they were able to vanquish the evil, and killed the dark sorcerer. But did they really? The sorcerer regains a small amount of power every Halloween, enough to enter into someones body to rise the evil once more, but since everyone is shrouded by masks and costumes, he can't make a clear entry to any body and must wait until next year.
Nerdiness Episode XIII
So the first anime I ever saw was Dragon Ball Z, don't make fun, it is actually really good. So let me start from the top, the main character is an almost extinct race known as Saiyans. The Saiyans hail from Planet Vegeta, which was blown up by an evil tyrant known as Freiza. The main character is Goku(Kakarot), who didn't show much promise as a Saiyan warrior, so they sent him to conquer Earth because they figured he could handle it. But when he arrived he fell and hit his head losing all memory of his mission, where Grandpa Gohan finds him and takes him in as his own. Goku grows up thinking he is an average human child, but that all changes when he meets Bulma, a teenage girl on a mission for the 7 Dragon Balls that grant any wish. They begin their adventure together and Goku shows promise as a fighter, slowly learning more and more becoming one of the strongest fighters in existence.Which brings us up to Dragon Ball Z. Goku is an adult now, married to Chi Chi, with his son, Gohan. And all seems at peace until another Saiyan named Radditz lands on Earth. Shocked that it is not yet conquered he goes to confront Goku. Goku, who now cares for the people of Earth, obviously would never kill them. So Radditz takes Gohan, causing Goku to go after him. This starts a whole new series of adventure, and many powerful enemies arise, but Goku is there to defeat them, except in the case of Cell, whom Gohan defeats and claims his place as the universe's strongest fighter. Through nine seasons of battle and death and resurrection, this show has made me feel all the feels you could expect, and that is why this show will always be one I recommend and watch over and over.

Nerdiness Episode 12
Okay so a new show just started around the first week of October. It's called Elementary, and I have become a big fan. It follows the life of Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) in New York after his drug issues. And Dr. Watson (Lucy Liu) is his sober companion. Sherlock happens to know the lead detective of New York crime investigations. They worked together in Scottland Yard about 10 years prior. The first episode shoots off with a series of murders of red-headed girls. A crazy man who likes to murder only a specific looking women. And he is going to therapy to get better, but it only leads to another murder. Sherlock Holmes is one of my favorite book series. Conan Doyle is such an amazing author, and I respect the way he works out cases and how serious I can believe the characters are real. So Sherlock Holmes is a famous detective for those who didn't know, in fact the greatest one who ever lived. Holmes solves the most complicated cases and knows nothing is as it seems. Catch the fourth episode of Elementary this Thursday.

Nerdiness episode 11
Chrome Shelled Regios is one of my favorite short animes and animes in general. It is set in a world where outside the towns, these Chrome Shelled Regios, it is poison and kills people. So everyone usually has to stay inside them, but there are exceptions like these suits that can handle the air for a short amount of time, or if you are a filth monster, the monsters who live out of the cities and often attack. The last way to handle the air is to be a Heaven's Blade wielder, one of the chosen twelve to use the most powerful DATEs known to exist. DATE are the weapons using Kei energy to fight off filth monsters, or in school cities, to have battles to be the best military artist of the school.
The story follows the strongest Heaven's Blade wielder, Layfon Alseif who was a former wielder of the Katana Heaven's Blade in Grendon, leaves it all behind, or at least that's the plan until he gets to Academy City Zuellini where he plans to not be a military artist. But when a fight breaks out and he is the only one who can help, he dashes in and catches the eye of the student council president, and the leader of the 17th platoon, which he soon joins. But his past keeps trying to come back and many problems erupt and it's up to Layfon to save Zuellini.

Nerdiness episode X
So like Doctor Who is a show, that in my opinion is pretty fantastic. It was big back in the 70's. Then it returned in 2005 and that is when I first started watching it. It came back with the infamous Doctor, the last Timelord alive, a race of time travelers. He meets Rose, a girl who seems to want more in life, and she gets it when the living plastic try to take over. This show is British so you will encounter accents and cities of Europe.
But when the doctor a rose defeat the plastic, he offers her a chance to see all of time and space. She accepts and many adventures unfold. When her journey with the doctor ends, he brings along Martha, then Dinah, then Amy, which brings us to the current episodes as latest as last Saturday when the season ended, to return in December. This show encounters so many enemies including The Dark Lord himself. Daleks, Cybermen, Ood, Smilers, Weeping Angels, and many more.

Nerdiness Episode IX
So I found that I literally have no life when I do it right. All weekend all I did was work on leveling in the new expansion of World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria. I already have three characters at the new level cap, 90. Also I did some work on Guild Wars 2 and got a Thief to 15 already. First off in WoW, I got the expansion and immediately started leveling, I was at it for about 13 hours the first day, and then nearly all of the second day. It helped that I had the new heirlooms, thank you extra 14% experience, and help by a few of my friends who had already hit 90. I also re-discovered my talents as both a healer and a Dps. I am sad to announce that out of anyone on my realm, I have the second most 90's as of the 1st of October, and what's worse is I only had the expansion for 4 days unlike the other guy who has 4 capped toon(Characters). So not that you are wondering but my three current 90's are my Rogue, Paladin, and my Death Knight(Not as impressive since he started at 55 but still it counts). Thursday, September 27, 2012
Nerdiness episode 8
Pokémon is fairly old at least to my generation. It started out Red, Blue, and Yellow, game boy color's in my opinion best feat. They only had 150 back then and now I believe they are past 600 now. Around the time it first came out it was such a big hit, it got it's own show, a show that is stuck into my mind because of how groundbreaking it was.
It's main character was Ash Ketchum, a boy from Pallet Town. One day he woke up and was ready for adventure. He headed down to Professor Oak's to get his Pokémon, but when he got there, all the pokéballs were taken, except one, Pikachu. Over the years, the show started to deteriorate and fall apart. But Black and White in my opinion revived the series. This show, and game franchise has lasted for a long time and will last longer, and that is why this creation is magnificent!

Nerdiness episode 7
Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer. It was developed through a joint research project led by Kenmochi Hideki at the Pompeu Fabra University in Spain in 2000 and originally was not intended to be a full commercial project. It's basic use allows people to input lyrics and melody and synthesize them. It allows people to add stress to words, adjust the vibrato, and a few other things.
It was originally designed for artists to create their music, but many artists have been created off the program itself. Among these is my personal favorite, Miki, who is one of the less famous ones with only about two songs, Satellite and iNSaNiTY. A link to my favorite song, iNSaNiTY is below.

Neediness VI
Okay so everyone, I hope, has played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This game was literally beaten through it's music. The first time Sheik came in, the great little annoying fairy, Navi, then your horse, Epona. This game threw something into Zelda that was foreign, the power of music, and time travel. So the game begins in Kokiri forest, with the hero, , the only child without a fairy in the forest. The Great Deku Tree, the protector of the forest and Kokiri people, sends out Navi the fairy because it is time for the hero to begin his journey.
So you go and meet The Great Deku Tree who is ill because a dark force is taken home within him. So you go in and save The Great Deku and he tells you to journey to Hyrule and find the king. You sneak into the castle and find Princess Zelda, who believes dark wizard named Ganondorf is here to destroy the land and decides to help you. You collect the three spiritual stones and pull the master sword, but since you are a child time skips to 7 years later so you have the heart of a hero to wield the blade. While you were gone Ganon took over and it is up to you to call together the sages to seal away the evil.

Nerdiness Episode V
So Kingdom Hearts recently came out with the franchise's newest game for the 3DS, Dream Drop Distance. Square Enix seems to be completely taking Kingdom Hearts in a new manner. Instead of using Disney characters as your partners, you get to make your party and customize who is in it, with the main characters being the exception. As well as a new spin on who you fight along side, you get two different lives. That might not make the most sense, but what I mean is you get a meter, when it runs out, you "Drop". When you drop you enter the other main characters life. Now the two people you alternate between is of course Sora, main character overall the series, and Riku. The whole game is based on both their journeys towards becoming Keyblade masters.
For the people who need some back story, Sora and Riku are two people who were friends on an island with only about 4 others until they decide to make a raft and leave. Before they are going to set off into the sea. The first of the Heartless arrive to take all the islanders hearts. Everyone gets swallowed into the darkness except Sora who stays to fight. At this point, Sora unleashes his true weapon, the Keyblade. The Keyblade is a legendary blade that holds tremendous power. So Sora beats the heartless and travels into the darkness to save Kairi, the girl he likes, and his best friend Riku. So Riku and Sora are on their way to becoming true Keyblade masters, but must pass the test. So the partners you get in this game are creatures called Spirits. All spirits are based on animals, and they all have different ways of helping out the main character.

Nerdiness Episode 4
So since I have been thinking about my favorite things, I decided that for today, I will write about the all time best movie created, at least I think it is, and that film is The Nightmare Before Christmas. This movie is in my opinion the all time best because it combines everything I like into one film, Heroes and Villains, Dark and spooky, Christmas, claymation, and of course it's a musical. Now I like most of Disney movies, at least the older ones, and most Tim Burton ones, as long as they are animated, but this movie has something about it that I feel like I can relate to.
This movie follows the life of one Jack Skellington as he is the pumpkin king in Halloween town, a town revolving around the scary holiday Halloween. But there is something missing for Jack, the same thing every year, he wants to mix it up some, but doesn't know how. He leaves after a Halloween celebration depressed and alone, walking through a graveyard, and his ghost dog, Zero, comes to join him. Little does he know his admirerer, Sally, is watching him, she feels the same way, she wants something new, something different. Jack walks along through the Dark Woods and stumbles upon a gate to Christmas town which of course, is the town revolving around Christmas.
Jack hatches an idea that I won't spoil for you, and a lot of bad things happen, and people get sad, and then happy, and everything in the end works out just like it should.

Nerdiness Episode 3
Since last Thursday I did my second favorite anime today I decided I would talk about my favorite anime, and one that still has episodes being released, Case Closed (Detective Conan in Japan). Our story begins at an amusement park, where high school detective Jimmy Kudo is out with his childhood friend Rachael Moore. Jimmy is obsessed with Sherlock Holmes who he believes to be the best Detective of all time, and so all he talks about the whole time is Sherlock, but all the chatter and fun comes to an end when a murder happens, Jimmy quickly solves it but notices a few mysterious men in black lurking around and decides to follow one, leaving Rachael alone. Jimmy stumbles upon something he wasn't supposed to see and the men in black give him a drug that is supposed to be untraceable and kill him, but it has a different effect when instead it shrinks him down to the age of a small boy. Jimmy quickly rushes home and can't even get inside when he hears and explosion, his neighbor Doctor Agasa is a genius inventor who may of had less successful inventions then one would think. Jimmy goes to the Doctor and tells him everything, but of course Agasa assumes that it is just some little kid with an imagination, but Jimmy proves it with some excellent sleuth work. Agasa tells him that he must keep his secret hidden or the men in black will come to finish the job. Agasa takes Jimmy into the Kudo house and Rachael arrives, looking for Jimmy, but all she finds is Agasa and shrunken Jimmy, she asks what the boys name is and he quickly uses some detective author's names and creates the name Conan Edogawa. Agasa talks Rachael into taking Conan, because her father is also a detective and if Conan can work behind the scenes to make him a great one, he may be able to uncover the truth about the men in black, and their poison, because if he can get the poison, Agasa can make an antidote and return Jimmy to his old self. So the whole anime is behind the scene work by Conan to make one Richard Moore the best detective around, a hard task that Conan faces, but he knows that no matter what, "One truth prevails". This anime is above 600 episodes now, most of them not in English and has 16 movies. Unfortunately after 4 movies and 5 seasons, Funimation cut their project and ended the English dubbing, leaving fans upset, but the Japanese version still goes on and maybe one day the English version will return, and a new generation of fans will be born.

Neediness Episode II
Anime! Not just any animated show, this ones from Japan and it is most definitely my second favorite anime. This anime is called D. Gray-Man. It follows the story of a young boy named Allen Walker, an exorcist of the parasite class. First off he is an exorcist who releases tormented souls from the grasp of demons called Akuma. Parasite class implies his ant-Akuma weapon, for killing the demons, also referred to as his innocence is part of his body which allows for it to change becoming adapted to situations where it's other forms may not be applicable. Back to those Akuma, they are reincarnations of the dead that someone wants back in their life, but when brought back they are Akuma who against their will must do as their master, the Millennium Earl . The Earl as he is often referred to be the members of the Black Order, the group against the Earl, finds people who are currently mourning a recently lost loved one and offers them the chance to have that person back if they simply call out the dead's name. But when they return they are Akuma, whos first mission is to kill the person who brought them back, a loved one. The Earl's goal is to collect the Heart of Innocence, or the original core that all the fragments broke off of, and it is contained inside one of the exorcists. It is Allen along with friends goal to stop the Earl at any cost, but they have to fight through numerous Akuma, and a family at the Earl's side, the Family of Noah, and they aren't exactly humans either. If you are interested in finding out more on this anime the first two seasons are in English on Netflix. www.Netflix.com

Neediness Episode I
"Hail Hydra!" Words said by every member of Hydra, the organization for Hitler handling his scientific research. It isn't real but it's real in the world of Captain America (The comic book hero from Marvel). Hydra is led by Red Skull, the German evil equal of the Captain. Most members of Hydra consume cyanide from inside a fake tooth to commit suicide. "For every head you kill, two more will take it's place, Hail Hydra!"
